Sri Devaraj Urs College of Nursing aims to be an “Institution of Excellence” in the field of Nursing, Management, and Services in the ongoing development of the program. The Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust established the Nursing College in 1998. It is located in Tamaka, six kilometers to the eastern part of the Kolar, on the Bangalore-Chennai Highway-NH4, well connected by road, rail, and air.
College of Nursing Approved by Govt. Karnataka and was approved by the Karnataka Nursing Council and the Indian Nursing Council. The school is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka. The college received an ISO 9001-2000 certificate in 2006, one of the few Nursing Colleges in India that has achieved this remarkable work.
